In 2019 we went through the process of getting the façade renewal approved by the Mairie as being authentic to the period the house was built.  Being in the designated historic centre of the village and, with a determination to avoid unsightly exterior renewals, the Council actually gives a small subsidy provided you adhere to their fairly strict guidelines and complete the works in the authentic style.

As you can see from this photo, our excellent contractors Kelly Projets Ltd, completed the restoration of the façade to authentic 1700s style. This included new double-glazed windows on all floors, a new wrought iron decoration to the ground floor window, and new shutters on the third floor. It’s a great improvement to the appearance of the house.

This is in addition to the new kitchen that was installed in 2018, with new kitchen units and sink bench unit, cupboard units and a dishwasher. Check out images of the new kitchen.
