11 Rue Gay Lussac, Marseillan

Around 300 years old, the restored house includes two double bedrooms each with an ensuite, an additional twin/double bedroom, spacious lounge, modern appliances, washing machine and dryer, linen, bedding and extensive storage. A private outdoor courtyard is the perfect area to enjoy alfresco living, complete with barbecue.

Access from the street is direct to the ground floor, which includes an open plan kitchen and dining area, bathroom and laundry. The outdoor courtyard accesses a large covered basement (remise), which contains bikes and beach gear for tenants’ use. A separate street entrance off the remise provides convenient and easy access for bikes, shopping, beach gear or luggage.

The first floor contains the main living room, a large double bedroom with ensuite (toilet, handbasin and shower) and an adjoining twin bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The sunny living room, which overlooks the street, has a large corner sofa unit which converts into an extra double bed if needed.

The top floor attic level contains another large double bedroom with full ensuite (toilet, handbasin and shower). Well set up for couples, this configuration is also ideal for families who have additional guests to stay. Recommended for 2-6 people, the house can sleep up to eight by utilising the sofa bed.
