The Port

The extensive upgrading of the Port area has now been completed. Vehicles are no longer permitted in the area but are diverted around behind Noily Prat.

This has allowed for the whole area and some distance back toward the main village area, to be nicely paved and the little park area has been re-designed and re-planted.

At the village end of the Port, a waterfall now runs into the port and at night it is lit by changing coloured lights. Perhaps not as quaint as previously, but very attractive and much better without vehicles.

There are plans for more apartment buildings behind the Chateau area as more people from the northern part of France want to retire to the area and enjoy the benefits of the Occitanie climate and lifestyle.
