Future Plans

As mentioned under the item about the village centre, we have decided to take advantage of the Mairie’s offer of a subsidy for the renovation of the façade of the house at 11 rue Gay Lussac.

With several other houses having had their facades done, we were getting a bit embarrassed that the street frontage was looking rather shabby.  After a lot of visits to the Mairie, filling in forms, visits from the ‘authentication’ guy and Kevin Kelly (from Kelly Projects, acknowledged as THE expert in façade renovation), we are finally organised.

We have accepted the quote, the Mairie has approved, and the upgrading will take place in February.  We are looking forward to looking very smart and totally ‘authentic’ – we hope it is all worth the considerable expense!
