Tariffs and Bookings
The minimum stay is one week’s accommodation or equivalent tariff. For bookings over four weeks, the weekly rate may be reduced by negotiation.
Marseillan Tariff: The standard tariff is NZD $1,400 per week.
Rental tariffs are inclusive of power, gas and water charges, except where more than four people are staying, when a small contribution may be asked towards these charges.
The rental tariff is reliant on costs (such as rates, electricity, gas and water) and the exchange rate remaining reasonably static. If the exchange rate or costs change significantly, the tariff may be adjusted accordingly, but not without sufficient notice.
Tenants are asked to take good care of the house, leave it as they would wish to find it, and to replace (or inform us of) any losses or breakages.
Most rentals are booked 6-12 months in advance, so early enquiries are recommended.
A deposit is required at the time of booking of 20% with the balance payable two weeks prior to booking date.
On payment of full tariff, a set of keys will be made available along with important information about accessing the house, how everything works and helpful hints for your holiday. Cancellations made without sufficient notice may result in loss of deposit. Cancellations in the last two weeks are liable for the full tariff.
Bookings over winter are not generally recommended as it can get very cold at that time of the year and the house is not fully equipped for winter. Guests wishing to book over that time should be aware of this and may need to make extra arrangements for heating.
